Over the past decade, I have built my career as an international school teacher, working across Asia and continually developing my skills as an educator. Along the way, I have sought out training that supports both my students’ learning and their safety. I hold certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Wilderness First Aid, and I am also a Duke of Edinburgh Assessor and Trip Leader, experiences that have strengthened my ability to mentor students beyond the classroom.
Professionally, I have pursued IB training to deepen my practice, completing Category 2 in MYP Sciences and Category 3 in Artificial Intelligence and the IB MYP/DP. These courses have sharpened my ability to design inquiry-driven lessons and to integrate emerging technologies thoughtfully into education. Academically, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Texas State University and a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning from Colorado State University. I also earned my Professional Teaching Certification through the University of West Florida, qualifying me to teach K–6 General Education, 5–9 General Science, and 6–12 English Language Arts. Together, these experiences and credentials reflect my commitment to lifelong learning and my readiness to adapt to new challenges in education. |
